About the Role

We're looking for a Data Architect (SQL Server) / Senior SQL to join our Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

You will analyze the current SQL Server data architecture, identifying and documenting business logic within stored procedures, jobs, and batch processes. You will map dependencies, integrations, and critical data flows, detecting risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. You will optimize database performance and structure, and support the migration of logic from the database to the application layer when appropriate. You will facilitate knowledge transfer with the internal team, particularly ahead of key resource departures, participate in incident resolution and operational support, and use AI tools to accelerate discovery, analysis, and documentation.

Required Experience

  • Advanced experience with SQL Server (architecture, performance tuning, troubleshooting).

  • Strong command of stored procedures, views, jobs, and batch processes.

  • Experience in complex legacy environments with limited documentation.

  • Ability to analyze dependencies and data flows.

  • Experience in data discovery and technical documentation.

  • Experience using AI tools for data/code analysis.

  • Experience in critical enterprise systems (ideally insurance / fintech).

  • Hands-on, analytical profile oriented toward problem-solving.

  • Advanced English Level (excluding requirement).
