About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help power our global growth.

Key Responsibilities

You will develop and maintain high-quality software, following good coding practices and defined standards, implementing features by applying design principles such as SOLID, design patterns, and clean architecture. You will apply test-driven development (TDD) approaches to ensure quality from early stages, building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and integration flows. You will participate in code reviews, contributing improvements and ensuring team code quality, and collaborate on the planning, design, and implementation of new features and improvements, implementing production fixes and providing support when needed. You will document developments and keep technical documentation up to date, identify opportunities for improvement in code, processes, and architecture, and deploy solutions to the cloud using infrastructure as code (IaC) approaches. You will work with cloud services, primarily AWS, to build scalable solutions (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, among others), participate in the configuration and automation of environments (dev, testing, production), and actively collaborate with the team on solving technical problems. You will take part in technical discussions proposing efficient and scalable solutions, contributing to a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and best practices.

Required Experience

• Software development experience (3+ years).

• Solid knowledge of good development practices (clean code, design patterns, architecture).

• Experience developing with modern technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or others.

• Experience working with APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.

• Experience with automated testing (TDD and/or end-to-end testing).

• Experience working with CI/CD and good deployment practices.

• Experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS).

• Experience or knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, or others.

• Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CDK or other tools preferred).

• Experience working under agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).

• Good command of Git and collaborative tools (Jira, Slack, Confluence).

• Ability to work collaboratively, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

• Advanced English Level.

Especially Valued

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.

• Experience with other languages such as Go, Kotlin, Scala, or similar.

• Experience working in serverless environments.

• Experience with advanced deployment strategies (canary releases or others).

• AWS certifications (Practitioner, Developer Associate, or others).

• Interest in or experience with artificial intelligence projects.
